A gang of criminals were reported to have stormed and vandalized all the vehicles in sight at St. Felix Catholic Church Nise, Awka South council area, Anambra State on Sunday and vandalized vehicles packed by worshippers during a priestly ordination.
The information which was obtained by Citypost from a viral video was a terrible sight to behold as the hoodlums made away with personal belongings of the car owners as well as essential parts of the vehicles.
It is indeed very unfortunate to think that the safety of worshipers and security of property is no longer guaranteed guaranteed even in places regarded as sacred.
This development no doubt calls for more proactive actions by government authorities and security agencies in such places to avoid reoccurrence of such dastardly act going forward.
