The Director General of South East Governors Forum Distinguished Senator Uche Ekwunife CON has proved her mettle from all indications as the best thing that has ever happened to Anambra Central senatorial district since she assumed office in legislative capacity.

Surprisingly, Sen Ekwunife has remarkably expanded her scope for delivering democracy dividends beyond her tenure as senator of the federal republic as she continues to pilot the affairs of constituency representation despite her current status.

Ekwunife has been like that; acting and representing the masses in-between the timelines not minding if she’s in public office or not.

Her rare style of representation can best be described as typical of a world-class political leader considering her strong sense of identifying areas of needs and seamless confrontation of highlighted challenges.

Recall that during the 2023 senatorial district election campaigns Ekwunife assured the electorates that her passion for human capital development was not hinged on her status as Senator, rather she informed them that she would continue to impact lives whether or not she remains in parliament.

Madam project as she is popularly addressed on Friday empowered scores of young people including mothers whom she seems to have so much reservations for considering their critical roles in household management.

Each of the beneficiaries who had previously undergone one form of vocational training or the other at the instance of the multiple award-winning senator went home with requisite materials required to set up their own businesses. Quite impressed with the senator’s diligence and utmost show of compassion in view of prevailing economic crunch, the beneficiaries sang, danced with joy and prayed God to continue guiding and protecting the Most Distinguished Senator Uche Ekwunife Ph.D.

Some of the beneficiary’s responses;

“I want to seize this opportunity to appreciate the Most Distinguished Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) for empowering me today. This gift has opened a door of success in my life. May God bless her abundantly in Jesus name”, says Miss Stella Ogugua.

“I am delighted to be among the beneficiaries of today’s empowerment organized by Dr Mrs Lilian Uche Ekwunife. It is indeed rare to see someone making efforts to alleviate the people from the alarming rate of sufferings being witnessed across the country nowadays. Only the likes of Senator Ekwunife can do this and I’m willing to give her support in any project she may wish to undertake”, says Chukwunonso Jideobi.

These empowerment schemes no doubt underscores the senator’s exceptional commitment to service given that she couldn’t have been campaigning for an elective position outside the political season. This act of kindness in the ongoing economic hardship simply defines who she is! A senator that really cares!

Many others showered Senator Uche Ekwunife with prayers and encomiums following her unmatched legacy in human capital development, especially the ongoing empowerment of her constituents despite having exhausted her timeline as a member of the 9th Senate.
