BREAKING: BOY WITH MISSING INTESTINE PASSES AWAY

By Our Reporter

The young boy Adebola Akin-Bright whose intestines was reportedly found missing in the process of surgery has finally gave up the ghost. Akin-Bright died on Tuesday evening following a case of lingering medical complications.

He was earlier moved to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital for resuscitation. In a bid to unravel the mystery behind his missing intestine, a 5-Man ad-hoc committee was constituted by the Lagos State House of Assembly to begin investigations.

He was consequently placed under the care of Dr Williams who happened to be a certified surgeon working in the facility.

Interim report from the committee revealed that Akin-Bright’s health condition improved at LASUTH compared to the situation before he was admitted to the hospital. The committee also recommended that he should be flown to the UK or US for an intestine transplant.

This latest recommendation of the committee became necessary following an observation that his health had deteriorated in the past few days to the point that he was just managing to stay alive.

The House therefore urged Governor Sanwo Olu to direct the Ministry of Health to release funds for the boy’s treatment outside the country.

Meanwhile people were calling for immediate arrest of the medical Doctor that handled the boy’s case before his intestine went missing for proper investigation and prosecution if found culpable by any means.
