Kano Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Kano has sacked Governor Yusuf Abba of the New Nigeria People Party, NNPP and declared the APC candidate Yusuf Gawuna as winner.
The tribunal made the declaration on Wednesday September 20th putting paid to the contest as to the actual winner of the gubernatorial election held on March 18, 2023.
Citypost will follow up and report if the NNPP decides to challenge the ruling at the court of apeal.
