Macpee pays tribute to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, calls him a Humanitarian of Unparalleled Compassion

The serene atmosphere of Nnewi, Anambra State, was tinged with deep emotions as Hon. Peter Aniekwe Udogalanya (Macpee), representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, in the company of his campaign DG Sir Tony Ike Aniako, attended the burial of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who passed away in a tragic circumstance. The lawmaker, known for his eloquence and empathy, paid glowing tributes to the late senator, whom he described as a “humanitarian of high magnitude.”

Speaking to a Citypost correspondent shortly after signing the condolence register, Hon. Udogalanya expressed profound sorrow over the loss of a statesman whose selfless contributions to the upliftment of Anambra State and Nigeria at large left an indelible mark.

“Ifeanyi Ubah was not just a senator; he was a bridge-builder, a philanthropist, and a man with an unrelenting passion for human development. His investments in education, healthcare, and youth empowerment are testimonies of his undying love for his people,” Udogalanya stated.

The lawmaker recalled several instances where Senator Ubah intervened to alleviate the struggles of the less privileged, emphasizing his unparalleled generosity and vision for a prosperous Igboland. “He was a humanitarian of high magnitude, a man who saw beyond himself and placed the needs of others above his own. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come,” he added.

Hon. Udogalanya also extended his condolences to the Ubah family, urging them to draw strength from the late senator’s impactful life and dedication to service. “I join millions of Nigerians in mourning this irreplaceable loss. May his soul rest in perfect peace, and may his legacy of kindness and service live on in the lives he touched,” he concluded.

The burial ceremony, attended by governor Chukwuma Soludo, and former governors of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, Dr Chris Ngige, among other dignitaries, political leaders, and citizens from across the country, highlighted the immense respect Senator Ifeanyi Ubah garnered during his lifetime. His passing remains a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of leaving behind a legacy that uplifts humanity.
