Ekwunife Hails the Agbogidi of Onitsha on Emergence as Chairman, South-East Traditional Rulers Council

Senator Uche Ekwunife has extended warm congratulations to His Majesty Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, on his emergence as the Chairman of the South-East Traditional Rulers Council, describing the new royal mandate as well-deserved.

In a statement, Ekwunife lauded the monarch’s exemplary leadership since his enthronement in 2002, highlighting his resilience, academic excellence, and commitment to upholding the rich heritage of the Igbo people.

“Over the years, you have demonstrated the true essence of traditional leadership, fostering unity, peace, and development across the region,” Ekwunife stated.

The widely celebrated lawmaker expressed confidence in the monarch’s ability to strengthen the traditional institution and enhance its influence in regional and national affairs.

“As you assume this new responsibility, I have no doubt that your wisdom, experience, and dedication to the progress of the South-East will further elevate the role of traditional rulers,” she affirmed.

Ekwunife prayed for a reign marked by prosperity and harmony, wishing the revered king continued success in his service to the Igbo nation and beyond.
