The Anambra Central People’s Forum, a registered Pan-Igbo socio-cultural organization championing the revival and preservation of the dying Igbo Mother Tongue, has lauded a celebrated Anambra female philanthropist and revered Alumnus of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Dr. Lady Loretta N. Ukeji (Adadioramma), who they described as an accomplished Lady of substance who has enriched people’s lives with virtues and beauty of character, added that she is a Philanthropist of no mean value, reputed to have been used extensively by God to accomplish great feat.
In a Press Release made available to Journalists in Awka, and signed by its Chairman, Achebe Chris, Esq., the Group said: “With a generous spirit and profound understanding of the power of Igbo Language Education, Dr. Lady Loretta N. Ukeji (Adadioramma) has graciously accepted to offer philanthropic support to the 4th Edition of Year 2025 Prof. Pita Ejiofor Annual Igbo Essay Competition for Secondary School Students in Anambra State.
“Hailing from a proud Igbo heritage in Oraukwu, Anambra State, Dr. Lady Ukeji’s journey is a testament to the relentless spirit and determination that define our culture.
From her roots in a strong religious household to her impressive career as a professional Management and Policy expert, Dr. Lady Ukeji has continually demonstrated excellence and resilience. Notably, she has made significant strides in business management. She is the Managing Director of J. I. Ejison International Ltd, a fast moving consumer goods, marketing and distribution company with presence in the thirty-six(36) States of the federation and FCT. She is also the Managing Director of J. I. Ejison Oil and Gas Ltd as well as Nichola Suites and Garden.
“Dr. Lady Ukeji’s dedication to community service and her unwavering commitment to noble Igbo causes, make her a beacon of hope and pride for Ndigbo. Ukeji (Adadioramma) had never left anyone in doubt about the love of her culture and proud Igbo heritage”.
On his part, one of the Patrons of the Pan-Igbo socio-cultural organization, former Vice-Chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and Founder, Otu Suwakwa Igbo (Nig.) Initiative, Prof. Pita Ejiofor commended Dr. Lady Loretta N. Ukeji (Adadioramma) for her uncommon benevolence towards Igbo Language Education which will help the students in getting a better sense of their cultural background for the sustained growth of the Igbo race in time and eternity, and urged the people to continue to pray for the woman of quintessence “who has dedicated her life to the advancement of the course of Igbo nation and humanity”.
