Easter: Hon. Aniekwe Salutes Constituents, Preaches Peace and Tolerance

Hon. Peter Aniekwe, Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has extended warm Easter greetings to his constituents, urging them to embrace peace, tolerance, and mutual respect as foundational virtues for sustainable development.

In a message issued by his Media Office, Hon. Aniekwe emphasized that the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which Easter commemorates, serves as a powerful symbol of love, sacrifice, and hope. He noted that these values remain relevant today, especially in fostering unity and progress within communities.

“Easter reminds us of the power of peace and perseverance,” the lawmaker stated. “As we celebrate this season, I urge all constituents to imbibe the virtues of tolerance, love, and harmony, which are essential for our collective growth.”

Hon. Aniekwe highlighted that peace and unity are critical enablers of economic and infrastructural advancement. “No meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of conflict and discord. Our strength lies in our ability to live together in peace and work towards common goals,” he added.

He called on constituents to apply these values in their homes, communities, places of worship, and across the entire federal constituency. He reaffirmed his commitment to continuously representing their interests at the National Assembly and to pursuing legislative actions that will enhance their quality of life.

“As your representative, I remain resolute in advocating for the needs of our people and ensuring that development projects and policies are responsive to our unique challenges and aspirations,” Hon. Aniekwe concluded.
