The immediate past Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has extended her heartfelt condolences to Mr. Ekene Oforah, personal photographer to the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, over the painful demise of his beloved mother, Mrs. Ngozi Angela Oforah.
During a condolence visit to the bereaved family in Uruoji Village, Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area, Ekwunife described the late Mrs. Oforah as a woman of virtue, whose sudden departure at the age of 58 has left a deep void in the hearts of her family and community.
Speaking with compassion, Senator Ekwunife said: “My dear brother Ekene, I received with great sadness the news of the passing of your beloved mother. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows we can endure, and it is even more painful when it happens at such a tender age. Mama was not just a mother to you and your siblings, but a pillar of love, strength, and godliness in your family and the Uruoji community.”
She emphasized that while words may not ease the grief, Mr. Oforah and his family are not alone in their mourning. “My thoughts and prayers are with you. May the Almighty God grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and rest Mama’s gentle soul in perfect peace,” she added.
Ekwunife also highlighted that her visit to Mr. Oforah was not only to commiserate but to honor the strong political bond she shared with the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, noting that their mutual respect and collaboration continue to reflect through individuals like Mr. Oforah, who served with dedication.
She prayed that the legacy of the late Mrs. Oforah, her humility, kindness, and service to others continue to inspire those she left behind.
In their separate remarks, Ekene and his father expressed deep gratitude to Senator Uche Ekwunife for being a source of inspiration and great support since the passing of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, and prayed for God’s infinite blessings upon her, her family, and success in all her endeavours.
