In a significant political development, Hon. Sir Jude Emecheta (Ogbuefi Nwachinemelu), a former senatorial aspirant and key stakeholder of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The defection took place today, June 28, 2025, in Ozubulu Ward 4, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. Emecheta, who was widely regarded as one of APGA’s most formidable aspirants, was warmly received by APC leaders and supporters in his ward.
