APC Campaign Council Takes Thank You Tour to Idemili North

…Reaffirms commitment to security and development

The All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign train led by its governorship and deputy governorship candidates, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu and Senator Uche Ekwunife respectively, on Tuesday stormed Idemili North Local Government Area as part of their ongoing thank you tour across Anambra State.

Speaking during the event, prominent party stakeholder Hon. Ichie Vincent Obi described the day as a special one, stressing that the electorate in Idemili North are determined to do something spectacular at the ballot.

Obi acknowledged that Governor Chukwuma Soludo may have done his best but insisted that after three years, it took him too long to realize the importance of human lives. He declared it was time for a leadership change, urging voters to support Prince Ukachukwu to complete the job.

In her remarks, the APC deputy governorship candidate, Senator Uche Ekwunife, extolled the virtues of Prince Ukachukwu, popularly known as Ikukuoma. She described him as a man thoroughly prepared through years of tested leadership in both the private and public sectors.

Ekwunife highlighted his vast business and political experience, as well as his strong connections across the country, as key assets needed to deliver good governance.

The distinguished lawmaker urged the people of Idemili North to mobilize massively for the APC and ensure victory at the polling units, stating that this would cement their pact with the incoming administration.

On his part, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu reaffirmed his readiness to approach governance differently, with a strong focus on addressing the state’s infrastructural deficits. He decried the worsening security situation in the state, which he said has led to loss of lives and the closure of businesses, including his own factory in Idemili.

Ukachukwu assured the people that tackling insecurity would be his first priority upon assumption of office, emphasizing that a secure environment is the bedrock of economic prosperity and collective development.

The event had in attendance the incoming First Lady Beauty Queen Mrs. Mitchell Ukachukwu, Hon. Ichie Vincent Obi, Chief Mrs. Maria Ejielo, Chief Dozie Ikedife Jnr, Dr. Agbala, Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo, Hon. Rita Mmaduagwu, Hon. KG Enemuo, among other key stakeholders and party faithful.

The thank you tour continues across other local government areas in the state as APC pushes forward in its quest to reclaim Anambra.
