Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming November 8 Anambra governorship election, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has extended warm congratulations to two of the state’s eminent leaders, Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige, CON, and Chief Sir Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano, on the occasion of their birthdays.
Ekwunife lauded Senator Ngige’s transformational leadership between 2003 and 2006, describing his people-centred reforms as a testament to how Anambra thrives when leaders put the welfare of citizens above all else.
She also praised Chief Obiano, who turned 70, for the socio-economic strides achieved during his 2014-2022 tenure, noting that his legacy underscores the impact of vision and decisive governance.
According to Ekwunife, the lives and achievements of both leaders serve as an inspiration and a challenge to the current generation, particularly at a time when Anambra needs to be guided towards greater security, unity, and prosperity.
She offered prayers for God to bless Ngige and Obiano with continued good health, happiness, and many more years of meaningful service to the public.
