On the occasion of the 2026 International Women’s Day, renowned businessman and philanthropist, Charles Chidi Onyeze (Dr. Sir CC Onyeze), has congratulated women across Anambra State, with special recognition to widows whose resilience and strength continue to inspire society.
In his message, Dr. Sir CC Onyeze commended Anambra women for their invaluable contributions to family stability, community development, and the socio-economic progress of the state. He paid glowing tribute to widows who, despite life’s challenges, have remained steadfast in nurturing families and sustaining hope for a better future.
The philanthropist reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to championing initiatives that uplift women, particularly widows, through the activities of the Sir CC Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation, noting that empowering women remains a vital pathway to building stronger communities.
“As we celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day, I salute the courage, dignity, and perseverance of our women, especially widows. Through the Sir CC Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation, we will continue to support programmes that promote empowerment, economic independence, and dignity for the women folk,” he stated.
