Anambra state Commissioner for Youth Development Hon Patrick Aghamba and his wife has regained freedom after spending one day in the custody of their abductors.
Recall that the couple and their Aid were attacked on their way to Abuja to attend the wedding reception of the first daughter to Gov Charles Soludo of Anambra state.
The Aid was unfortunately killed by the Kidnappers on that fateful day while the couple were taken away to an unknown destination.
Confirming this development the Press Secretary to Soludo, Mr Christian Aburime noted that no ransom was paid to secure their release.
Aburime also said that the couple were in a good state of health and have rejoined their family.
He dismissed insinuations that the kidnap was politically motivated insisting that there is no truth in the report.
