Barr. Don Amamgbo has expressed profound condolences to the people of Okija in Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State, following the tragic stampede on Saturday, December 21, 2024, that claimed several lives and marred the festive joy of the Christmas season.
In a statement released by his media office, the Ihiala-born lawyer and business leader described the heartbreaking incident as a painful and unbearable loss. Amamgbo calls for prayers for the deceased and their families, noting that it is time for healing.
He extended his heartfelt sympathies to the grieving families, while praying for peaceful repose of those that lost their lives during the unfortunate incident.
