Tragedy struck last Saturday in Nise Community, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, as three young boys from the same family were found murdered in their home.
Reports indicate that unidentified persons gained access to the compound, carried out the heinous act, and left undetected. The boys, aged between six and two, were discovered inside their father’s car parked within the compound.
It was gathered that their parents were not at home at the time of the incident. The father, reportedly a businessman, was said to have left for work along with their mother, a practice they regularly followed.
While there are unconfirmed reports suggesting the father had disputes with certain individuals, it is unclear whether this is connected to the tragic incident.
The case has been reported to the police, but according to SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer, details are yet to reach his office. He assured that a formal statement would be issued after proper investigation.
This devastating incident has left the community in mourning as they call for justice and intensified security in the area.
