Renowned businessman and philanthropist, Sir CC Onyeze, has joined the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day, extending heartfelt felicitations to the resilient women of the Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation and the entire women of Anambra State.
In his goodwill message, Sir CC Onyeze acknowledged the indispensable role women play in building strong families, communities, and society at large. He described them as pillars of strength, nurturers of future generations, and key contributors to the socioeconomic progress of Anambra State.
“As we commemorate International Women’s Day, I salute the unwavering dedication, resilience, and industrious spirit of our women. From the grassroots to the professional sector, Anambra women continue to distinguish themselves in business, leadership, and governance,” Onyeze stated.
He emphasized the importance of this year’s theme, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,” noting that empowering women is fundamental to achieving sustainable development. He reiterated his commitment to initiatives that promote women’s economic empowerment, education, and active participation in decision-making processes.
Through the Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation, he has consistently supported widows, young women entrepreneurs, and female students, providing financial aid, mentorship, and skill acquisition programs to enhance their economic independence.
“To the courageous women of the Onyeze Humanitarian Foundation who have remained steadfast in our mission to uplift the less privileged, I commend your compassion and dedication. You are an inspiration to many,” he added.
He further encouraged women across Anambra State to remain focused, ambitious, and united in the pursuit of a better future, assuring them of his continued support in breaking barriers and achieving gender equality.
