Contrary to false reports being circulated by paid APGA media handlers, verified results from the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) BVAS portal have confirmed that Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON, delivered a landslide victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in her hometown, Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.
In Nri Wards 1, 2, and 3, Ekwunife secured a commanding lead with a total of 1,908 votes, while the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) managed only 230 votes, placing the incumbent governor in a distant second position.
The results, already captured on the BVAS before suspected gunmen invaded the polling centre to disrupt announcement, further confirm APC’s dominance in the area.
