Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON, Ph.D., the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 8 Anambra governorship election, has extended warm congratulations to Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, on his re-election for a second term in office.
In a message titled “A Message of Congratulations to Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and Gratitude to My Esteemed Supporters,” Ekwunife expressed deep appreciation to her supporters, campaign team, and the people of Anambra for their unwavering faith, sacrifice, and commitment throughout the campaign period.
She described their solidarity as a “victory of faith, unity, and hope that no ballot can erase,” acknowledging the efforts of her running mate, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, and the massive support they received across the state.
“Though the election outcome may not have been what we desired, I am profoundly proud of the effort we put into this race. I deeply appreciate our campaign team and all my supporters for standing firm and believing in our vision to serve Anambra with compassion, courage, and competence,” she said.
Ekwunife paid special tribute to young people and mothers who contributed tirelessly to the campaign, stressing that they demonstrated that “politics can indeed be about people and purpose.”
The former senator urged her supporters and all Anambra citizens to support every effort directed toward peace, progress, and unity in the state, emphasizing that the interest of Anambra must always come first.
“I sincerely wish His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, success in leading Anambra to greater heights. When Anambra succeeds, we all succeed,” she noted.
Ekwunife concluded her message with prayers for divine blessings upon Ndi Anambra and Nigeria, expressing hope for a brighter future anchored on unity and shared purpose.
