Distinguished Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON, has been conferred with the Champion Newspapers’ 2025 Most Impactful Female Politician of the Year Award, in recognition of her remarkable contributions to public service and her enduring impact on governance and women’s participation in leadership.
The award ceremony took place at the Banquet Hall of the Eko Hotels & Suites, where the prestigious honour was presented before a distinguished gathering of public figures, media executives, and stakeholders.
Senator Ekwunife was ably represented at the event by Engr. Emeka Okafor, who received the award on her behalf.
The award was formally communicated to the Senator in a letter from the management of Champion Newspapers, which thanked her for accepting the honour and expressed optimism that the recognition marks the beginning of a stronger relationship with the respected lawmaker.
