VIDEO: Soludo’s newly-constructed road shattered by heavy rain

The newly-built Ochanja Market Road in Anambra State has been washed away by a heavy rain which disgraced both the contractors and the government on Monday.

Sadly, the road was inaugurated by the state government about a week ago. An indication that the contractor must have deployed quacks to site and used poor quality materials for the job.

A viral video making the rounds on social media revealed the road’s asphalt coating dismembered and scattered all over the area like akara balls inside frying pan.

This Ochanja-Iweka road was widely celebrated few weeks ago by Soludo’s men and the residents until the March 25th rain marked the governor’s script and scored him zero on the project.

This ugly incident calls for a comprehensive review of the contractor’s pedigree, as well as other ongoing road projects across the state.
