Youth leader of Ezikwelu, Nkwelezunaka Community in Oyi local government area of Anambra state Mr Rapuluchukwu Ejielo has lamented the continuous harassment by law enforcement agencies and the disruption of his hotel business, which has led to painful loss of millions of naira.

Rapuluchukwu who spoke to reporters at his country home in Nkwelezunaka alleged that due to his success in business his enemies have been writing petitions and laying false and unfounded allegations against his person .

He recalled that a detachment of policemen and also soldiers had visited and whisked him away to their stations three times based on false allegations but after investigation they found out that he was innocent.

“They came this last time with allegations of being a cultist and that I am doing illegal business but after investigation they discovered that it was not true”

“The Soldiers had come before to arrest me and I told them that I am not a criminal and that I am not a cultist and after their investigation they asked me to go because I am innocent’

“Another one they accused me of murder and the allegations could not be proven by my accusers who are also members of my community and this is simply because I am doing well in business and because I own a hotel they would come to the hotel and start shooting guns and ultimately scare away my customers and I have lost millions of naira to this constant harassment” he said.

When contacted the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 13 Command SP Josephine Ihunwo explained that she needs to know the Investigating Police Officer in charge of the matter adding that Rapuluchukwu Ejielo should visit her office to identify the police team that made the arrest in order to resolve the matter.
