Former Anambra State PDP Gubernatorial Aspirant and notable business leader, Chief Barr Ike Oligbo (Ike Umuoji) has formally sent messages of condolence to Ohaneze Ndigbo and the Iwuanyanwu family on the passing of a renowned Elder Statesman, Late Chief Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu on 25th July, 2024.
Ike Umuoji described the passing of one of Nigeria’s finest business leaders, sports enthusiast, diplomatic politician, captain of industry and celebrated President General of the reputable Igbo sociocultural organization Ohaneze Ndigbo, as devastating and very difficult to bear.
Chief Oligbo made this known while reacting to the sad news of the astute leader’s passing which consequently threw the entire Igboland and Nigeria as a whole into a state of mourning.
In his condolence remarks, Ike Oligbo stated:
“Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu (Ahaejiagamba) was obviously one of Nigeria’s most inspirational leaders, diplomatic administrator, detribalized statesman, and Pan-Nigerian of reputable standing.
“His short-lived reign as President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo was nothing short of remarkable, result-oriented and strong crusade against marginalization, while projecting Ndigbo as a productive and viable entity that is deserving of participation in the Nigerian project.
“Chief Iwuanyanwu was visibly active in many areas, especially those areas that aim at acknowledging genuine regional interests and viable initiatives needed for effective achievement of national objectives.
“Ahaejiagamba further demonstrated willingness to partner with the South East State Governments, the Ministries of Agriculture and all other relevant agencies to ensure that Ndigbo are properly equipped to maximize our agricultural potentials. He also initiated partnership with the State Governments to ensure that Southeast excels in education, among other sectoral considerations”.
The legal luminary and business mogul of international repute, Chief Ike Oligbo expresses deep sympathy with the Iwuanyanwu family of Umuchi Atta, of Ikeduru LGA, Imo State, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, the entire people of South-East zone and Nigerians in general, while praying for peaceful repose of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo.
