Former Anambra State Governorship Aspirant and notable philanthropist, Chief Barr Ike Oligbo, (Ike Umuoji), has expressed profound shock at the news of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s sudden call to eternal glory in London.
This is coming at the backdrop of the.passing of the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, thereby intensifying the pains already taking its toll on Ndigbo and other well-meaning Nigerians.
Ike Oligbo made this known in a telephone conversation with journalists, while reacting to the tragic incident that cut short the joy of the Late Ifeanyi Ubah’s family.
“It s such a big blow to Anambra State and Nigeria as a whole to think of losing such a talented young lawmaker who has earlier carved an enviable nitch for himself in business management, public administration and community service.
“I find it somewhat disturbing that a vibrant young man like Ifeanyi Ubah should leave at this time, knowing that he is already at his prime, having surmounted series of challenges and came through successfully.
“His conduct and achievements in both private and public sectors remains a strong affirmation of his focus and determination to excel beyond measures.
“I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to his beloved family, the Government of Anambra State, the Nigerian Senate, and indeed the Federal Government of Nigeria over this shocking incident.
“May the perpetual light of Almighty God shine upon his beautiful soul as he transits gracefully to eternal glory”, he said.
