…Assures continued support for quality representation

On August, 6th, 2024, the Anambra Central People’s Forum, a socio-cultural organization championing the revival and preservation of the dying ‘Igbo Mother Tongue’, tagging along with Heads of Schools, Teachers, Students, Traditional Rulers and well-meaning stakeholders went agog with palpable joy and excitement as they expressed appreciation to DNA Federal Lawmaker, Rt. Hon. George Ibezimako Ozodinobi (Aja-Ajanze), for fulfillment of promises/pledges made at the just concluded Year 2024 Grand finale of Prof. Pita Ejiofor Annual Igbo Essay Competition for Secondary School Students in DNA Federal Constituency, and assured him of their continued support for quality representation.

Expressing satisfaction, the Chairman of the Organizing body, Achebe Chris, Esq., said: “As you fulfill your promises/pledges made at the just concluded Grand finale of Prof. Pita Ejiofor Annual Igbo Essay Competition for Secondary School Students in DNA Federal Constituency, please know that your kind gesture is appreciated and your impact is felt. As a consummate Federal Lawmaker representing the good people of Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia Federal Constituency, you have exemplified what it means to lead with integrity, commitment and vision. Your magnanimity and benevolence through this gesture is an elaborate indication of your goodwill towards this noble association and Prof. Pita Ejiofor, in particular.

Achebe added: “We learn early in life that honourable people keep promises and that to betray public trust is dishonourable; one will then confidently assert that Rt. Hon. George Ibezimako Ozodinobi is a man of exemplary integrity, worthy of public trust. I reflect on your many achievements and the lives you have touched. Your passion for public service shines brightly, and it motivates all of us to strive for a better future”.

Speaking separately, the Principal, Community Secondary School, Nimo, Mrs. Chibueze Regina, extolled Rt. Hon. George Ibezimako Ozodinobi for his commendable disposition towards fulfillment of his promised largesse, and assured that their teachers, staff will continue to support the dedicated Legislative Representative to enable him continue with his good works and consolidate on the gains already recorded by his legislative representation.

On her part, her counterpart, Evang. (Mrs.) Ndirika Ngozika, Principal, All Saints’ Secondary School, Abagana, thanked immensely, the avid Federal Lawmaker, Ozodinobi for his financial responsiveness to the participating schools at the great event, urging the people-centered Lawmaker to sustain the momentum.

Of a particular note is that other School beneficiaries took turns to appreciate and eulogize the event’s benefactor, Aja-Ajanze (as fondly called), including the Chief School, St. Kizito Girls’ Secondary School, Umudioka.

Continuing, in a goodwill message, the Traditional Ruler of Enugwu-Ukwu community, HRM, Igwe Sir Ralph Obumnemeh Ekpeh (Eze Enugwu-Ukwu Na Igwe Umunri), said the elected Legislative Representative had made all the good people of DNA Federal Constituency proud with the competent manner he is handling his high office as Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives.

He said, “You all know me. Apart from God, I don’t have anything to fear. I say it the way I see it. Ozodinobi is making laudable impact in this Federal Constituency. We are proud of you, Aja-Ajanze, a chieftaincy title attached with enormous responsibility and he has lived up to our expectations”.

In his remarks, Ekpeh appreciated the socio-cultural association, Anambra Central People’s Forum for providing the platform for the competitions, attributing its success to committed efforts of the organizers, stakeholders, Traditional Rulers, Teachers, Students and well-meaning benefactor, Rt. Hon. George Ibezimako Ozodinobi, MHR, added that the annual Igbo Essay Competition was becoming one of the highest brands in DNA Federal Constituency.
