Director General, South-East Governors Forum, Senator Uche Ekwunife CON, earlier today sent a delegation to the family of Ezenwa Ike in Ndikelionwu, Anambra State to condole with Senator Gershom H. Bassey, who served in the 8th and 9th Senate representing Cross River South, during the burial ceremony of his father-in-law, Sir Dr. Animaeze Ezenwa Ike.
Sir Dr. Animaeze Ezenwa Ike, a respected figure in Ndikelionwu, Anambra State, passed away recently, and his funeral service was held at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in his hometown. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, family members, and well-wishers who came to pay their last respects.
The delegation sent by Senator Ekwunife included notable figures from her constituency, close associates, and representatives of the Anambra Central Senatorial District, ably led by Hon Eddy Nwokike. The delegation was tasked with extending the Senator’s condolences to Senator Gershom Bassey and his family, expressing her heartfelt sympathy and solidarity during this time of loss.
In her message, Senator Ekwunife conveyed her deepest sympathies to Senator Bassey and his family.
