Director General South-East Governors Forum, Senator Uche Ekwunife CON, has called on Nigerians to show love for one another by taking precautionary measures, checking on family members, friends and associates in the spirit of Christmas season.
Ekwunife disclosed this in a new month message which was released by her Media Team on Sunday 1st December, 2024 as presented bellow;
“As we step into the joyous month of December, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all Nigerians, particularly the good people of the South-East region. This season marks a time of reflection, gratitude, and unity as we celebrate the blessings of the year and prepare for the opportunities that lie ahead.
“The festive season is a period of love, compassion, and giving. I encourage everyone to embrace this spirit by reaching out to the less privileged, strengthening family bonds, and fostering harmony within our communities. Let us show kindness and support to one another, for it is in our unity that we find strength.
“As we travel to celebrate with loved ones, I urge all to prioritize safety and remain vigilant. Be cautious on the roads, adhere to traffic regulations, and ensure the well-being of those around you. The season is a time for joy and celebration, so let us tread carefully and progress gracefully.
“To the resilient and industrious people of the South-East, this is another opportunity to showcase our rich cultural heritage through the various festivals and activities that bring us together. Let us continue to be ambassadors of peace and progress, demonstrating the values that define us as Ndigbo.
“May this month bring you abundant blessings, peace, and prosperity. Let us walk into the new year with renewed hope and determination to build a better Nigeria for ourselves and generations to come.
“Happy New Month and Merry Christmas in advance!”, she remarked.
