EZEAJUGHI; JOY IN ACCOMPLISHMENT @54

The fine rendition of veteran NIgerian singer “Cock Crow At Dawn” by Pa Bongos Ikwe captured the theme of man’s struggle in life when he posed the question; “will he ever get there? will he ever make it ? , will he ever hear the sound of the cockcrow at dawn” .

Chief Earnest Ezeajughi left his home town Awgbu in Orumba North local government area of Anambra state in search for greener pastures with a mind deep in thought if he will ever make it through life.

After graduating from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka in the Department of Microbiology left the shores of Nigeria to obtain a Masters Degree in Environmental Health and Management at Kings College London.

He got employed in Royal Mail Public Health England and the Medicine and Healthcare Regularly Authority .

Ezeajughi later became the first black Mayor of London Borough’s of Bent an achievement that has remained a reference point in the annals of London history.

Little wonder when Gov Charles Soludo of Anambra at inception chose him as his Chief Of Staff.

Ezeajughi came home to serve his people who he left years ago in search for that greener pastures .

Indeed the question posed by Bongos Ikwe Cock Crow At Dawn was answered in afamative indicating that Chief Earnest Ezeajughi made it .

Born in the year December 16th 1970 to the family of late Pa Simon Okeke Ezeajughi an educator and politician he has passed through the crusibles of life and came out unscathed.

His role in making Anambra state a smart city homeland is one that has placed him at the vertex of Anambra state government and one that has also showed a point of departure to greater hight.

As he celebrates his fifty four years in life it speaks volume of more accomplishment that awaits him in future.

To the younger generation it is a lesson that slow and steady wins the race with every amount of focus and perseverance.

To Chief Earnest Ezeajughi the joy in accomplishment knows no bounds as he adds yet another year to his age .
