The keenly observed primary election, which witnessed massive participation by party faithful across the state, was coordinated by Distinguished Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON, who served as the Anambra State Coordinator and Collation Officer of the APC Presidential Primary Election Committee.

The exercise was conducted under tight security and was widely described by party stakeholders and observers as peaceful, transparent, and credible.

Speaking after the collation of results, party leaders expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the exercise, noting that the overwhelming support recorded for President Tinubu reflected the confidence and trust APC members in Anambra State repose in his leadership and Renewed Hope agenda.

The successful organization of the primary election was also attributed to the administrative competence and experience of Senator Uche Ekwunife, whose coordination was said to have ensured a seamless process devoid of rancour or major disputes.

Political analysts believe the outcome of the primary election will further strengthen the APC’s political structure and acceptance in Anambra State and the South-East region ahead of future political engagements.
