
In a bold demonstration of commitment to cultural preservation and youth empowerment, Frontline House of Representatives’ Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA), For Dunukofia, Njikoka, Anaocha Federal Constituency elections, Barr.
Chukwudi Oli (Oba Ezeafia), has officially accepted to sponsor the 5th edition of the Emeritus Prof. Pita Ejiofor Annual Igbo Language Essay Competition for Anaocha, Njikoka, Dunukofia Local Government Areas, organized by the prestigious Anambra Central People’s Forum, a dedicated socio-cultural organization committed to the preservation and promotion of rich cultural heritage and academic excellence in Igbo language studies in Anambra State.
In a Press Release made available to journalists in Awka, today, and signed by its Chairman and Secretary-General, the socio-cultural association said: “This sponsorship aligns seamlessly with the Barr. Chukwudi Oli’s legislative vision, which prioritizes educational development, grassroots empowerment, and the safeguarding of the cultural heritage and identity.
“By sponsoring the Competition, Barr. Prince Chukwudi Oli is not only celebrating our rich heritage but also providing a vital platform for our young ones to express their ideas and showcase their academic brilliance in our native language”.
Highlighting the significance of the “Emeritus Prof. Pita Ejiofor Annual Igbo Language Essay Competition for Secondary School Students in Anaocha, Njikoka, Dunukofia Local Government Areas”, the Pan-Igbo association emphasized: “The noble initiative focuses on preserving the dying Igbo Mother Tongue which, according to the UNESCO and Language scholars, will be extinct in the nearest future, following the classification of the language as one of the endangered languages of the world”.
This initiative marks another milestone in the Barr. Chukwudi Oli’s ongoing community development efforts. It underscores his readiness to offer transparent, inclusive and culturally conscious representation at the House of Representatives.
The socio-cultural association, while expressing immense pride in Barr. Prince Chukwudi Oli’s notable achievements, described him as a consummate and dedicated Politician whose knowledge, experience, exemplary service, sterling legacies and charismatic abilities will help turn around the fortunes of DNA Federal Constituency, and energize the lower arm of the National Assembly.

MEANWHILE, in the association’s Press Statement, it has announced that the “Emeritus Prof. Pita Ejiofor Annual Igbo Language Essay Competition for Secondary School Students in Anaocha, Njikoka, Dunukofia Local Government Areas”, will commence on 15th August, 2026.
The Pan-Igbo association, along with supporters, urged respected Igbo Leaders, Traditional Rulers and Community Leaders across DNA Federal Constituency to actively support the Igbo Language Preservation Campaign, as always.
