“NO SENATOR HAS MATCHED EKWUNIFE’S RECORD IN ANAMBRA CENTRAL” — DIKEUDO

Veteran political heavyweight Joe Martins Uzodike throws weight behind Ekwunife ahead of 2027

Chief Hon. Barr. Joe Martins Uzodike (Dikeudo), former Anambra State Commissioner for Information and a prominent political figure who served as Director-General under the Gubernatorial campaign of Peter Obi and Willie Obiano, has declared Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON, the most accomplished senator Anambra Central has produced in terms of recorded achievements.

Uzodike made the declaration when Senator Ekwunife, the APC Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District in the 2027 election, paid him a courtesy visit at his country home in Awka-Etiti.

Describing Ekwunife as a lawmaker whose impact transcends political boundaries, Dikeudo noted that her developmental footprints across Anambra Central and beyond distinguish her from other representatives.

He argued that effective representation goes beyond party affiliation, insisting that voters must prioritise candidates with the capacity to deliver tangible results through legislative interventions, sponsored bills and motions, strategic advocacy, constituency projects and people-oriented empowerment programmes.

The respected statesman observed that political mobility has become a defining feature of Nigeria’s political landscape, making competence, credibility and a demonstrable record of performance more important considerations than party labels.

He also referenced Ekwunife’s experience in the 2023 senatorial election, expressing confidence that the circumstances surrounding that contest would not be repeated.

Responding, Senator Ekwunife thanked Chief Uzodike for the warm reception and praised his longstanding contributions to Anambra State’s development. She reaffirmed her commitment to people-centred leadership and pledged to continue placing the interests of her constituents above all other considerations.
